Lynx Edicions

Lynx Edicions is a Barcelona based publisher that specilises in high-quality ornithology and natural history books. Founded in 1989, its primary focus and flagship publication was the Handbook of the Birds of the World.  A 17-volume encyclopedia, and the first work to describe and illustrate every species of bird in the world.

Lynx now publishes a number of other ambitious and definitive handbooks and series including the multi volume Handbook of the Mammals of the World, the bestselling title All the Birds of the World and Illustrated Checklist of the Mammals of the World
