Very scarce. 12 monthly volumes bound together in a blue cloth binding with gilt spine titles [which show the later editors, Sheppard & Woodhead, and the later publisher, A. Brown & Sons] and ‘The Naturalist’ emblem in gilt to top board; original paper covers have been bound in at the rear. Boards a little bumped and lightly marked with a little wear to the extremities and slight spine fade. Spotting to endpapers, otherwise almost none. Age toning affects most of the textblock, moreso in the margins. Articles cover botany, mycology, ornithology, entomology, geology and more.
