This Handbook attempts to give clear guidance on the use of treeshelters along with a balanced appraisal of their benefits and limitations. The topics covered are separated into those relating to the design of treeshelters, the benefits that may be anticipated, and correct usage. A brief description of the microclimate inside treeshelters is given in an appendix at the end of the Handbook.
