The very scarce 3rd edition of this book with memoir of the author and his last additions and improvements, the 1st edition of which was published in 1828. Green cloth boards with gilt spine titles; wear to extremities, lightly marked, hinges cracked and weak. The contents remain generally crisp, clean and bright, with a small number of minor faults. Almost no foxing to the normal textblock. Frontis + 6 B&W plates with tissue guards, generally a little foxed.
