Moths of Europe, volume 6: Noctuids 2

Volume 6 of a collection of 7 volumes which cover most of the moths of Europe. It is the second of two volumes dedicated to Noctuids. The first is volume 5.

This volume deals with part of the Noctuidae (from Caradrini) and also Nolidae. For each species, a precise description is given as well as useful information on their biology.

There are 127 color plates illustrating about 750 species with 1400 photos. which include the genitalia of both sexes as well as other details and variations. Their biology is highlighted (food plants, biotopes, flight-times and distribution). Status of some taxa has been revised, with 1 new species added and several sub-species. Distribution maps are also provided for most species.
