Pictorial Flora of the Mani – 3 volume set, 2nd Edition

Pictorial Flora of the Mani is a slightly different type of flora to many others since it contains 3-4000 pictures showing flowers, leaves, roots, fruits and photomicrographs of seeds and surface features of plants as appropriate. Each plant has a single page with photographs, a botanical description plus flowering period and distribution. There are keys for some groups plus photographs of local locations and animals. The book covers about two thirds of all the plants ever reported for the Mani and has been assembled over 15 years with almost all the photographs taken by the author.
