Very lightly used. The book is very crisp, clean and bright with the exception of a very thin strip of sun fading across the top and bottom of the boards where it has snook behind the DJ. The DJ is lightly bumped, otherwise clean and bright. This work collates all of the plates from Pierre-Joseph Redoute’s original eight volumes of botanical drawings, published between 1802 and 1816. The book includes all 486 of Redoute’s illustrations of lilies.
