Scarce. The greatly enlarged and improved 3rd edition, with 16 illustrative engravings at the rear, including several of winch and pulley devices, with detailed explanations in the appendix. Brown boards with blue cloth spine. Boards rubbed, lightly marked and bumped, wear to top of spine, spine faded to brown, rubbing with some loss to paper spine label, library numbers to spine; rear joint starting to split. Light bump to top of textblock affecting first few leaves, , otherwise internally generally crisp and clean with minimal age toning. Library stamps to FFEP, ex-libris sticker to FEP.
