Mike Alexander’s decades of meticulously photographing the flora he encounters while walking the coastal paths of west Wales have been distilled to the c.200 beautiful large-format photographs of species and their habitats showcased in this glorious pageant of the area’s flowers. Grouped into families with common English, Welsh and Latin names for each type, background information is provided on each type, including folk traditions and medicinal usage, as well as suggestions as to where to spot each one.
