Floristic Characteristics and Diversity of East Asian Plants

East Asia is an area of the world with a very rich plant biodiversity. In 45 chapters, this study presents and discusses the floristic characteristics and the diversity of East Asian plant species with emphasis on the system evolution of the most important taxa. From the perspectives of geobotany, plant systematics and plant cytology the utilization and conservation of plant resources are comprehensively dealt with.
