Although still a work in progress, the new flora of Cuba, Flora de la República de Cuba, Series A, Plantas Vasculares, completely updates and revises the previous flora, Flora de Cuba, by León and Alain (1946-1963). This newly revised flora now includes the ferns and lycophytes. Each genus is illustrated, usually with more than one species illustrated. Keys, specimens examined, and distribution maps are provided. There are >11,000 species of plants of which more than half are endemic. Volume 14 includes a CD-ROM containing all the specimen data of volumes 1-14. The first 20 fascicles are available – prices on request
