Dark red half leather with gilt spine titles, blind tooling and 5 bands; Textured dark red boards; red marbled endpapers and textblock edges, the latter of which are a little faded with a small ink stain to the lower fore-edge. Binding edges well rubbed, worn in places. Joints and hinges sound. Textblock crisp and clean with minimal foxing. Contemporary ownership inscription to FFEP.
