Author Biography

Dr Raj Kumar Arya, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India, specializes in polymeric coatings, process engineering, and simulation. He holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India, an MTech from IIT Delhi, India, and a BTech from Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur, India. Dr Arya has edited special issues for international journals and authored books with leading publishers, reflecting his deep expertise; he has contributed to functional coatings research with over 100 publications, 2 international patents, and executed several sponsored projects.Dr George D. Verros, a chemical engineer from Thessaloniki, Greece, earned his PhD in polymer reaction engineering from Aristotle University, Greece in 1995. His research focuses on process simulation and non-equilibrium thermodynamics in polymer science, including coatings. He has authored over 50 publications, holds 3 patents, and serves on the editorial board of Crystals (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute). Since 1999, he has worked in environmental applications for the Greek government and is also a Fellow at Aristotle University Thessaloniki, Greece.
