5 volume set, 1896-7, gilt ruled burgundy cloth; wear with some tears and loss to tops of spines, spines faded to brown, stain to front board of Vol. 1. Some hinges cracked or starting; tanned endpapers. Internally very little age toning; generally fairly clean but with the occasional thumb mark and occasional light spotting with 3 separated plates and 1 seperated leaf across the 5 volumes. An uncommon complete set.
