Author Biography

Allah Ditta has been working as an Associate Professor (Tenured) in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) Sheringal, Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan since December 05, 2021. Earlier, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, SBBU Sheringal, Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (December 05, 2016, to December 05, 2021) and as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, PMAS, Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-UAAR), Pakistan (10-03-2015 to 09-03-2016). During his tenure, he has supervised 07 MPhil (02 at PMAS-UAAR and 05 at SBBU), and 08 students' research work. He has been among the top 2% of scientists in the world, ranking by Stanford University since 2021. Recently, he has served as a chief organizer of an International Conference on “Recent Advances in Environmental Sciences and Biotechnology” on September 18-19, 2024, at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) Sheringal, Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He has also participated in various national and International Conferences and presented 29 abstracts as oral presentations. Based on his research experience, he was selected as a Senior Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences, The University of Western Australia, Australia from July 17, 2018, to July 16, 2024. Recently, he has been promoted to Senior Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences, The University of Western Australia, Australia since July 17, 2024. He is flexible in getting advanced knowledge, which could be required through training. He is enthusiastic and conducive to learning the latest advanced techniques and technologies. Dr. Ditta has a strong publication profile. His research work has encompassed soil nutrients using chemical, organic, and biofertilizers, plant growth under abiotic stress, C-sequestration, nano-nutrition of crop plants, bioremediation, public health, and health risk assessment of different contaminants. He has also edited special issues as a Guest Editor in MDPI-Sustainability and has a strong collaboration with different researchers around the world.
