Author Biography

Jean-Claude Ellena, the 'nose' of the luxury brand Hermes for fourteen years, was the Creative Director of Fragrance at the perfume house Le Couvent between 2019 and 2024. He is now an independent perfume composer, creating fragrances for brands on demand. Karin Doering-Froger, an art teacher at the Atelier de Sevres, has illustrated many novels and travel guides.
