The Potential for Woodland Establishment on Landfill Sites

For all those involved in planning, licensing, designing and reclaiming landfill sites, this report by the Forestry Authority reviews the guidance contained in the Waste Management Paper No 26 with respect to tree planting on containment landfills. It draws on the world literature, practical reclamation experience, and consultations with planners and the minerals and waste disposal industries, to offer information and practical guidance for landfill reclamation involving woodland.
