This book, devoted entirely to Orchids in cultivation in Europe, is based on the account of the Orchidaceae published in the second volume of “The European Garden Flora”, with the information updated and displayed in a revised format. 900 individual species are described, including references to published illustrations, with occasional line drawings of diagnostic features and 16 colour photographs.
