Book Condition – Good. The author has used his experience of twenty-five years in the Indian Forest Service and the seven years in Edinburgh and fourteen years at Oxford as a lecturer in Forestry to put together in one book what forest management entails and how the subject should be applied. The book offers a critical exposition of the classic principles methods and silvicultural systems on which forestry has been founded and shows how these principles are affected by modern conditions and economic change. Cover has some staining and markings but a very nice clean copy inside.
