Green pictorial cloth boards with gilt titles to spine and cover, gilt sunset to top of spine, black and green fern designs to cover and spine; xv+407+xvi adverts. 4 full-page Frith engravings of Devon in excellent condition + 12 colour fern plates with a a little very light spotting at the edges. The contents remain crisp, clean and bright with almost no age toning or foxing with the exception of tanned and lightly soiled endpapers. For the most part the binding remains bright and has only a little edge-wear, however there is some colour loss the bottom fore-corner of both boards. All in all better than Good.
