Solar Steam Generation for Sustainable Seawater Desalination and Energy Production highlights how innovative solar-driven technologies can be implemented across solar seawater desalination, water treatment, hydrogen (H2) production, electricity generation, and steam sterilization, offering practical frameworks, cost-benefit analysis, and global case studies. The book begins with two introductory chapters that explain conventional and sustainable seawater desalination, and of solar steam generation (SSG) systems. Subsequent chapters focus on key advances and applications, including photothermal materials, salt-rejecting SSG systems, heat management, generation of superheated steam, water treatment, and H2 production. This is an important resource for any reader looking to obtain a broad overview of SSG systems and applications, including researchers, advanced students, faculty, engineers, project managers, technicians, R&D, and other industry professionals.
