Author Biography

Chris Thorogood is a scientist at the University of Oxford where he lectures biology and holds the position of Deputy Director and Head of Science of the Botanic Garden and Arboretum. As well as being a scientist, author and broadcaster, Chris makes regular appearances on TV and radio and is also an award-winning botanical illustrator and wildlife artist. He is on a mission to help us see nature differently, and realize how we, it, and our planet, are all connected. Chris is the author of Pathless Forest and numerous other books on plants and flowers for adults and children.
