Rivers of the United States, Volume I: Estuaries

This is the first of a series of books providing a comprehensive, unified and integrated treatment of all the major rivers and estuaries of the contiguous United States. The hydrology, chemistry and biology of rivers in natural circumstances are described. This volume deals with estuaries, those biologically productive zones where rivers meet the oceans.
