Restoration of Native Woodland on Ancient Woodland Sites. Practice Guide

The purpose of this guide is to give advice to owners and managers on the restoration of ancient woodland sites. Emphasis of the guide is on the potential contribution of restoration to biodiversity and the practical considerations for successful development of native woodland. An assessment framework is included which enables owners/managers to rate the restoration potential of a site and rank the relative priority of a number of sites.
