2 volume set, assumed 1880, approx. 12″x9″, red leather binding profusely tooled and decorated with gilt, AEG. Bindings lightly to moderately rubbed to extremities, slight darkening to spines. Internally, generally very crisp, clean and bright, with very occasional light spotting and very occasional light thumb marks. Both ribbons detached but present. Includes 69 attractive steel engravings in sepia.
