Book Condition: Fair.
Original green cloth boards with gilt spine titles and gilt fern decoration to covers; remaining bright with a few light marks, bumped corners, slight darkening to vol. 1 spine and tears to both spines. Hinges and joints cracked with one board of each volume partially separated. Vol. 1 shocked with the separation of one gathering. Internally fairly crisp, clean and bright including plates, with very little foxing or age toning.
