Crisp, clean and bright with the exception of a few spots to the front endpaper and the outside edges of the textblock and a few marks to the red cloth boards. The DJ is in superb condition for its age, having long been protected inside a clear removable cover; no spine fade, just very lightly bumped at the edges, lightly toned and with a few light spots of foxing to the rear. A lovely copy of the first edition.
