Author Biography

Jen and Sim Benson are passionate about exploring wild places, whether they're running through the mountains, walking the National Trails or climbing on their local Dartmoor granite. In 2015 they spent a year living under canvas in Britain with their two young children. They are the authors of guidebooks Wild Running and The Adventurer's Guide to Britain, and the National Trust book Amazing Family Adventures. Regular contributors to a wide range of outdoor publications, they have a monthly column in Running magazine and are routes editors and gear testers for Trail Running magazine.
