First published in 1934, this 1st revised edition has 300 pretty colour illustrations on glossy composite plates and is bound in yellowy-beige cloth boards with decorative black titles and blind stamped flower and bird decoration to spine and top board. It remains exceptionally crisp, clean and bright inside and out, with just a small number of spots to the closed edges of the textblock. A particularly lovely copy.
