3 volume Breakfast-Table set in matching 2-tone cloth bindings, red with brown spines, gilt spine titles, gilt ‘OWH’ monogram to front covers, gilt top edges. Some bleaching of the brown cloth to white where they overlap onto the boards but remaining brown on the spines; very light marks to the top board of one volume; otherwise crisp and clean externally. Gilt top edges a little dust dulled. Internally also crisp and clean with slight age toning. Spotting only to endapers, first and final leaves and the outside edges of the textblocks. Attractively untrimmed fore-edges. Overall a lovely set from a highly regarded author of the time.
