Author Biography

Yamini Baghel is Asst. professor at the College of Forestry and Research Station, Mahatma Gandhi University of Horticulture and Forestry, Chhattisgarh, India. She earned her Ph.D. in Forestry in 2022 and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh, India. Her academic and research interests focus on forest silviculture, traditional agroforestry, carbon mitigation, and the indigenous tribes of central India. Her research contributions have been published in several peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, addressing topics such as species diversity, nutrient cycling, the role of minor forest products in sustainable livelihoods, urban forests, and indigenous traditional knowledge. Dr. Baghel received a Gold Medal during her B.Sc. program for exceptional academic performance. Her work contributes to the discourse on agroforestry, floral diversity, and ethnobotany, particularly their role in climate change mitigation in the context of India's natural resources and conservation.
