Blue cloth boards with gilt spine and cover titles both with gilt floral decoration. Spine faded; rubbed with some wear to extremities; top joint cracked making it a bit weak, though the hinge is sound. Internally, light to moderate age toning and very occasional light foxing. The contents remain fairly crisp and clean though with softened corners, the occasional thumb mark, very occasional small margin tear and very occasional subtle pencil mark in the margin. Ink inscription to the rear of the frontis. All plates and tissues guards present.
