Green cloth boards with gilt spine and cover borders and titles and gilt image to cover; binding in Very Good condition with very light bumping and wear to extremities, light marks to rear board, library numbers to spine. Gilt top edge remaining bright. Internally generally very crisp, clean and bright with just occasional and very light signs of use. Light thumb marks to closed fore-edge of textblock. Oakland Free Library stamps (one dated 1931) to a number of leaves. Overall a lovely copy.
