The conference Climate-Smart Nutri-Sensitive Integrated Farming System for Gender-equitable Sustainable Agriculture, jointly organized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA), Bhubaneswar, India and Pragati International Scientific Research Foundation (PISRF), Meerut, India, brought together researchers, public and private actors, and farmers to address climate-sensitive, gender-inclusive agricultural practices. The broad objectives of the conference were (1) To foster knowledge exchange and address challenges in various aspects of sustainable agriculture, including climate-smart practices, integrated nutrient management, gender-inclusive agricultural extension, and technological advancements, and (2) To promote collaborative strategies and generate insights to enhance the resilience and gender equity of agricultural systems, with a specific focus on women’s empowerment and sustainable agricultural growth. The contributions center on gender-responsive, climate-smart technologies for sustainable production; renewable energy technology for gender equity and environmental sustainability; sustainable soil and water management and remote sensing in agriculture; nutri-sensitive approaches for gender-equitable sustainable agriculture; gender-inclusive approaches in agricultural research and education; mechanization for management of agricultural systems and horticultural practices for climate-resilient agriculture production.
