Meenakshi Venkataraman is an ecologist with a special interest in insects. She believes adaptation and resilience are best exemplified by insects and notes that people love the butterflies and beetles but not necessarily their larvae. Her ambition is to make people stop and think about the ecological service an insect provides before they swat or spray these amazing creatures.
