Green cloth boards with titles in a Clarendon style serif to spine and cover and blind stamped ruled borders. Very light wear to boards, one small mark to cover, a bit of spine fade. Neat pencil annotations to plates whereby each fish has its name written alongside its head, otherwise very crisp and clean and only very light age toning (slightly more to endpapers). Prev. owner inscription to FFEP and top of title page. Complete with 33 beautiful composite colour plates. A highly collectible copy of this scarce work.
