‘The book is highly informative in a refreshingly down-to-earth, approachable manner. I get the feeling Pippa really wants to help the reader understand what they're doing and why, rather than giving them recipes about what they must do. The amount of information is phenomenal, about plants and design ideas. Always with the necessary background information. I warmly recommend this book both for beginners and knowledgeable gardeners.’ Charles Dowding, no dig organic gardener and author ‘Pippa has written the permaculture book I always wished existed; on one hand it overflows with practical ideas, case studies, and plant information - yet the book is so digestible and grounded that anyone reading this can and will be able apply what they’ve learnt to create their own dream spaces. I honestly feel this book is one of the most important contributions to permaculture in recent years, and it will have a permanent place in my design toolkit.’ Huw Richards, organic gardener, author and YouTube creator ‘Permaculture Planting Designs is packed with inspirational ideas and practical tips based on the author’s many years of experience, for growing wildlife friendly polycultures, year round, whatever your space. From rentals and urban yards, to allotments and larger gardens, Pippa’s adaptable and achievable designs, complete with detailed planting lists, will enthuse everyone to design and grow their own permaculture plot. This book will become a much used, soil stained addition to your gardening book shelf.’ Stephanie Hafferty, Award winning garden and food writer, and homesteader, www.nodighome.com
