This book is an English-language version of the second edition of of Dirk Dujesiefken and Walter Liese’s Das CODIT-Prinzip (2022) – German text. It replaces The CODIT Principle – Implications for Best Practices (2015) which was an English translation of the first German edition (2008).
This new edition is significantly expanded and revised from the earlier one, with a new introduction on tree biology, and a more comprehensive section on wound reaction. There is a completely revised chapter on implications for tree care, which, along with chapters on crown pruning, have been significantly expanded. A chapter on practical applications for tree care has also been added.
