Get gardening with practical projects, planting design, and seasonal upkeep for weekend wins If you want something done, ask someone who’s busy… Henry Agg created his dream garden while working full time. Now a qualified garden designer, Henry shares his design, landscaping, and planting knowledge for the busy gardener. Easy-to-follow, step-by-step projects show you how to build paths, steps, patios, walls, and fences; as well as plant supports, such as pergolas and raised beds; and even a calming water feature. Every project has an estimate of how long it will take – from an hour or so to a full weekend – so you can plan how you’re going to create your dream space in your spare time. This book also includes a chapter on planting, guiding you on preferred look and feel, what plants to choose, and – importantly – how best to plant them, followed by seasonal to-do lists, breaking down garden tasks into bite-sized jobs to avoid overwhelm. In The Weekend Gardener, Henry proves that, by doing it yourself and making the most of your weekends, you can create your dream garden.
