Green cloth boards with gilt titles and floral decoration to spine and gilt fern to front; bumped and marked with wear to spine, green faded to brown at spine and edges of covers, join cloth split near top, hinges cracked, binding shocked with the middle gatherings no longer fully attached making it a little fragile. Contents crisp, clean and bright bar a very small number of thumb marks, with almost no foxing or toning. A single leaf has an 85mm margin tear. Prev. owner inscription to FEP dated 1853. 8pp. advs at rear.
