Scarce full size reproduction from the 1629 edition in grey-blue paper-covered boards with brown cloth spine. Prelims+612pp.+16pp.indexes (Latin, English and by medicinal properties).
Most of the book is taken up by The Garden of Pleasant Flowers, followed by smaller sections on The Kitchen Garden Covers and The Orchard.
Covers moderately marked with wear to extremities and lightly soiled spine. Cracked hinges though remains firmly bound. Tanned endpapers, lightly creased title pages, a little generally very light foxing throughout, otherwise very nice, with an attractively untrimmed fore-edge and most pages remaining unopened at the top, indicating that it has had little use.
