Part of KNNV’s successful series of field guides, this volume is aimed at determining birds during their migration, focusing on their calls – which is rather different from recognising birds in a garden or forest. This field guide contains all the information for people who watch or professionally count birds during their migratory seasion. The guide describes the migration and calls of 150 Dutch migratory species in pictures and words. Especially the flight images, distribution maps and sonograms will appeal to many birdwatchers.
