Yorkshire Woodlands

Based on the 2016 conference in Ilkley, research on woodlands in various parts of Yorkshire has been brought together.
The history and archaeology of woods has been explored, especially the woodland boundaries, using landscape and documentary evidence, The book also includes: Relict Limewoods in the North-East pennine fringe, Forests for the future, Yorkshire Arboretum, and a walk in Middleton woods.
