Recently bound into 3 octavo volumes in green water-resistant buckram with gilt spine titles; bindings in Fine condition; bound as follows: 1) vols. iii-v (1835-1837) incl. 28 hand-coloured plates; 2) vols. vi-vii (1838-1839) incl. 27 hald-coloured plates of which 2 folding + 1 fold-out B&W plate; vols. viii-ix (1840-1841) incl. 27 hald-coloured plates. Each year begins with a decorative half title page, a title page and a preface and ends with an index, with the exception of 1835 which lacks the preface. Please note the years 1835 & 1836 are incomplete, lacking some of the monthly issues. Internally mostly relatively crisp, clean and bright for its age, with most leaves across all 3 volumes having only light age-toning and foxing, though some areas much heavier; occasionally well thumbed with a few bumps, very small tears and blemishes. Overall Very Good-. Photos available on request. An excellent opportunity to obtain a significant run of these monthly magazines, rarely found together in this quantity and rarely containing so many plates (82 in total).
