Root, Soil and Microbe Interactions

This book is a broad-based text for students taking courses in biology and agriculture and focuses on the zone of soil close to plant roots, often referred to as the “rhizosphere”. The authors show how plants and their roots interact with soil and the microbial and animal flora and fauna within the soil. This is of biological interest, but is also related to the subjects of plant growth, crop production, and pests and diseases of crops.
