Environmental Control Systems

This study aims to enable engineers, environmental scientists and facility managers to gain a better understanding of the methods of measuring and controlling levels of effluents from industrial and commercial facilities. It has been specifically designed as a course unit. The author describes techniques for analysis and sampling, and discusses special flow measurement applications for waste streams. Special problems such as underground storage tank monitoring and soil permeability testing are also addressed. Additionally, the book collects and clarifies information on US federal and state environmental regulations and lists contacts for federal and state regulatory bodies.
