Conservatory and Indoor Plants: v.2

Volume 2 includes begonias, lilies, jasmines, orchids, hoyas, palms, ferns, oleanders and other select groups. All these plants grow outdoors in Mediterranean or subtropical climates and most of them need the shelter of a cool greenhouse or conservatory in areas that have frost in winter, a few need heat. All of them can be grown outdoors in the UK summer. There are also introductory chapters on garden and greenhouse cultivation, types of conservatory and on the habitat of species in the wild.
